The Department of Corrections (DOC) recognizes the importance of providing information and opportunities that will assist returning citizens upon their release to the community.

To that end, DOC not only offers pre-release programming, but also connects exiting offenders with critical post release services including housing, employment, health care, mental health, legal and substance abuse treatment. Organizations partnering with the DOC, both public and private sector, offer these services to those transitioning to the community.
